CITY OF WEST JORDAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The West Jordan Planning Commission has scheduled an electronic public hearing, in accordance with Gov. Herbert's executive order #2020-5, to be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at which time input will be received prior to discussion and possible recommendation to the City Council concerning the proposed items: Cannon & Company Office Rezone; approximately 8631 South Redwood Road; Rezone 2.29 acres from RR-1A (Rural Residential 40,000 square foot lots) Zone to P-O (Professional Office) Zone; Cannon & Company/Gary Cannon and Susan Lund (applicants). WJ Airport, LLC; 4701 West 6200 South; Future Land Use Map Amendment for approximately 5.5 acres from Neighborhood Commercial to Light Industrial and Rezone approximately 14.30 acres from SC-2 (Community Shopping Center) Zone to M-1 (Light Manufacturing) Zone; Legend Partners/John G. Taylor (applicant) 8393 Development; 8393 South 1300 West; Future Land Use Map Amendment for 2.22 acres from Agricultural Open Space to Medium Density Residential and Rezone from A-5 (Agriculture 5-acer minimum lots) Zone to R-1-10 (Single-family residential 10,000 square foot minimum lots) Zone; NPMC, Inc./Katherine Young (applicant) Master Transportation Plan Amendment - Amend the City Transportation Master Plan Future Roadway Network map with changes to 6400 West, Wells Park Road and 6700 West between the New Bingham Highway and the Old Bingham Highway; City of West Jordan (applicant) West Jordan Engineering Policies and Design Criteria Recommendation to City Council for approving the entirety of the Engineering Policies and Design Criteria Manual, including Culinary Water, Land Disturbance, Landscape and Irrigation, Roads and Bridges, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Drains, Street Lights, and all Appendices and other related provisions, as presently constituted; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) 2009 West Jordan City Code Recommendation to City Council for Re-approving the entirety of Titles 5 (Environment and Health), 8 (Public Works, Public Ways and Property), 9 (Utilities), 10 (Building Regulations) and 11 (Land Disturbance) as presently constituted; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) The proceedings may be viewed with the following: YouTube City of West Jordan https://bit.ly/WestJordan Zoom Webinar log in information at https://www.westjordan.utah.gov/agendas You are invited to remotely attend the Public Hearing and take part in the discussions and voice any support or concerns you may have with the above-mentioned projects.
