HURRICANE CITY COUNCIL MEETING Agenda February 17, 2011 5:00 P.M. 147 N 870 W Notice is hereby given that the Hurricane City Council will hold a Regular Meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 147 N 870 W, Hurricane, UT. A roll call will be taken, along with the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer by invitation. NOTE: IF YOU WISH TO SPEAK DURING PUBLIC FORUM, PLEASE SIGN IN WITH THE RECORDER BY 6:45 P.M. AGENDA 5:00 p.m. Pre-meeting - Discussion of Agenda Items, Department Reports 6:00 p.m. – Call to order OLD BUSINESS 1. Discussion and possible approval of an Interlocal agreement with the Hurricane Valley Fire District 2. Consideration and possible approval of a Farm Irrigation Ag Power Rate Resolution-Dave Imlay 3. Consideration and possible approval of amending Title 5, Police Regulations, Chapter 4, Minors, Section 1, Curfew of the Hurricane City Code-Fay Reber NEW BUSINESS 4. Discussion and presentation of the Hurricane Rec Fest-Rec Fest Committee 5. Presentation and report from the County Weed Control Board regarding noxious weed control-Carl Wadsworth 6. Consideration and possible approval of a final plat for the Ivy Wood Subdivision, an 86 lot subdivision located between 240 North and 400 North on the east side of 870 West – Sego Capital/Kevin DeMille applicant 7 p.m. Public Forum – Comments From Public Please Note: In order to be considerate of everyone attending the meeting and to more closely follow the published agenda, public comments will be limited to 2 minutes per person per item. A spokesperson representing a group to summarize their concerns will be allowed 5 minutes to speak. Repetitious commentary will not be allowed. If you need additional time, please request agenda time with Kaden DeMille in writing before 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday one week before the Council meeting. 7. Consideration and possible approval of a reimbursement agreement between Sego Capital and Hurricane City for roads impact fee credits associated with the dedication of property for 700 West, a master planned road, in the Ivy Wood Subdivision. 8. Consideration and possible approval of a preliminary plat for the 920 West Subdivision, a 3 lot subdivision located at 920 South 920 West – Kevin DeMille applicant 9. Consideration and possible approval of a final plat for the 920 West Subdivision – Kevin DeMille applicant 10. Consideration and possible approval of a reimbursement agreement between Kevin DeMille and Hurricane City for roads impact fee credits associated with the dedication of property for 900 South, a master planned road, in the 920 West Subdivision. 11. Consideration and possible approval of an extension of time to record a final plat for the B&G Industrial subdivision – Scott Armour applicant 12.
