NOTICE is hereby given that the CITY COUNCIL of Alpine City, Utah will hold A PUBLIC HEARING and CITY COUNCIL MEETING on TUESDAY, MAY 27, 2008 at Alpine City Hall, 20 North Main, Alpine, Utah 84004 as follows:

For the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the 2008-2009 Tentative Adopted Budget

VI. ACTION ITEMS
A. Strawberry Days Royalty
The Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days Royalty will make a presentation and invite the Council and all Alpine residents to participate in Strawberry Days
B. Epic Engineering Invoice
The City Council will consider reimbursing Epic Engineering for work performed on the Alpine Drive Storm Drain Project
C. Three Falls Subdivision – recap of history
The City Council will review the history of the Three Falls Subdivision including minutes and motions before the preliminary plans are submitted by the developer
D. Three Falls Subdivision – 2nd Access
The City Council will consider defining what the working access will be and what rules will apply to the access as far as if it will be open all year, if it will be plowed, gated, etc.
E. Three Falls Subdivision – road cross section
The City Council will consider approving the alternate road cross section as proposed with 36’ of asphalt, non-vehicular lanes and curb on each side of the road, and sidewalk along one side of the road
F. 2008-2009 Tentative Budget
The City Council will hold a Public Hearing on the Tentatively Adopted Budget
G. 2007-2008 Amended Budget
The City Council will set a Public Hearing to consider amending the 2007-2008 Budget
H. Pedestrian Safety Project
The City Council will consider applying for Pedestrian Safety Funds for a sidewalk along the west side of SR-74
I. Main Street Traffic Study
The City Council will review the Main Street Traffic Studies
J. Development Code – Amending Article 4.5 and 4.6 (Minor and Major Subdivisions)
The City Council will consider amending regulating the extension/reinstatement of a final plat if no changes to the ordinances or the plat
K. Development Code – Amending Article 4.10 (Financial Responsibility)
The City Council will consider amending the ordinance to allow the warranty period to be only one year rather than the 2-year period to comply with state regulations
L. Development Code – Amending 3.24 (Off-Street Parking)
The City Council will consider amending parking space requirements for auditoriums, theaters, assembly halls, amphitheaters, art centers and rodeo grounds.
M. Michael Porter Site Plan
The City Council will review a proposed residential site plan located at approximately 235 S. Main Street

A. SB 20 – Municipal Government Amendments
David Church will review SB 20 which amended the State Code regarding the organization of local government
