Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Place: Community Room of the Public Safety Building (108 S 100 E,) Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, February 20, 2019, 7 PM Business Excused: Review and/or approve minutes: Motion by: Agenda Items 1. Conduct subcommittee reports: Preservation Update on the Old Town Hall project. (Chris and Kristen Schow) Community Outreach Give an update on the SHPO Historic Homes workshop (April 14 at 6:30 PM in the Community Room of PSB). This will be advertised with our postcard project, which we need to begin. (Laurel) Digitization & Archives Our next archive inventory session is Wednesday, March 11 (6:30 PM and March 12 (10 AM). USHRAB is offering another training opportunity on Friday, March 6 at 9:30 AM at UVU. Laurel, Jeanne, Karen, and Denise are registered. Anyone else? History & Publications Geri and Laurel are ready to start an edit of volume 2. Waiting to hear from Tina Peterson (city attorney) on whether the city holds the copyright. Give an update on the PG Suffrage booklet and project (Laurel) 2. Explain the potential children's history book project by Jamie Miller. Proceed, or not? (Laurel). 3. Follow up with our January brainstorming session by assigning projects to people (volunteer to adopt a project). 4. May is Preservation Month. What project can we plan? Team with the Beautification Commission to create a work day at an historic property in town? What else? Next meeting: Thursday, March 18 at 7 PM
