SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. a public hearing will be held in Room 315, Council Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State, Salt Lake City, Utah, before the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance relating to Petition No. PLNPCM2018-00219. A proposed ordinance is before the Council to amend various sections of Title 21A of the Salt Lake City Code to the CSHBD Sugar House Business District (CSHBD1 and CSHBD2). The proposed amendments would incorporate design guidelines from the Sugar House Master Plan into the Sugar House Business District zone. The Sugar House Business District is generally located between 900 East and 1300 East and from 1900 South to I-80. Design guidelines include regulations on such things as building facade design, spacing of doorways, glass transparency, and public way improvements. Related provisions of the City Code may also be amended as part of this petition. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. The City & County Building is an accessible facility.
