Elwood Town Council Meeting
December 10, 2019
The Elwood Town Council met at the Elwood Town Hall, 5235 West 8800 North, Elwood, Utah, at 7:00, December 10, 2019. The following members were present consisting of a quorum.

WELCOME
ADMINISTRATION
Councilmember Nelson was absent.
Minutes for Oct 8, 2019 and Nov 12, 2019 town council meetings was presented for approval.
Councilmember Griffin made a motion to approve the minutes for Oct 8, 2019 & Nov 12, 2019.Councilmember Pace seconded the motion. The voting was unanimous in favor of the motion.
Item#1 Audit-Dave Ahlstrom, Dave reported to the council Elwood town is in good shape, we are required to do the agreed upon procedures. Elwood had 8 findings nothing that he is concerned about. Dave stated he wondered if we even needed the impact fee fund he suggested that we get rid of the fund. Dave stated that Gina was great to work with and thanked the council for working with them. The council thanked him for all his work. Mayor asked for a motion to accept he audit.
Councilmember Pace made a motion to approve the Elwood town agreed-upon procedures report June 30, 2019. Councilmember Griffin seconded the motion. The voting was unanimous in favor of the motion.
Item#2 Planning Commission Report-Judd reported they have been working on the animal ordinance after the public hearing we made some changes to the ordinance. We have been working on the Elwood Crossing project we are waiting to hear from their engineer. We have been working on the subdivision ordinance. Mayor Nelson thanked them for all the work they do.
Item#3 Animal Ordinance-had nothing to report.
Item#8 Sheriff Department Report-Officer was not present.
WATER
Steve Woerner reported that we got the radio read system in 2007 and some of the batteries in the meters are starting to go out and we have replaced some of them.
SEWER
Steve Woerner reported that we had the lines on 4400 west to 9600 north cleaned and everything looked good.
PARKS AND RECREATION
Councilmember Griffin stated that some trees have fallen down at Hansen Park. Mayor Nelson stated that Steve and Jayson has done a great job cleaning up the park.
ROADS
Mayor Nelson stated we need to fix the Hunsaker Bridge on 9600 North.
EMERGENCY PREPARDNESS
Councilmember Howard reported that we had a small earthquake in the county.
OTHER
Mayor Nelson stated that we have impact fee money we need to use in 2 years, parks have $26,000.00 and sewer has $111,000.00
Councilmember Pace made a motion to adjourn, Councilmember Griffin seconded the motion and the remaining council agreed. Meeting was adjourned at 8:26p.m.
