The North Logan Planning Commission will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in the City Council Chambers (meeting room) at the North Logan Library, 475 East 2500 North, North Logan, Utah beginning at 6:30 p.m. Due to the latest Governor's public health order, the meeting cannot exceed 50 people at one time, and all attendees must be socially distanced by 6 ft. Commission Business:
1. 6:35pm Public Hearing: To receive public input on a proposed conditional use permit to allow an accessory dwelling unit at 1300 E 1600 N, North Logan (Kristine Bjorklund).
2. 6:40pm Public Hearing: Consideration and possible recommendations of an ordinance modifying landscaping requirements for development in Industrial Zones found in 12C-1100 (l) Amount of area Required to be Landscaped, reducing the percentage of required landscaping in the MC zone, and adding a street tree requirement in that zone.
3. Discussion of a revised Water Rights Ordinance that would add Section 12 I - Dedication of Water System Shares or Water Rights to Title 12 of the North Logan City Code.
3. Discussion of short-term rentals within North Logan City and a possible draft ordinance to define and regulate short-term rentals within North Logan with a Home-Based business license.
