PUBLISHED NOTICE OF SUMMARY OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS INDIVIDUALLY BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF LEHI CITY AND LEHI CITY (THE TAXING ENTITY) Diversion of Property Tax for a Community Reinvestment Project Area. The Redevelopment Agency of Lehi City (the Agency) hereby gives notice pursuant to 17C-5-205, Utah Code annotated 1953 as amended, the Agency and Taxing Entity hereby jointly gives notice pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Interlocal Cooperation Act, Title 11 Chapter 13 (The Cooperation Act), Section 11-13-219, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, that: 1. On January 14th, 2020 the Agency adopted resolution number R2020-03 approving and authorizing execution of an interlocal agreement (the Agreement) between the Agency and the Taxing Entity and on January 14th, 2020 the Taxing Entity adopted resolution number 2020-04 approving and authorizing execution of an interlocal agreement (the Agreement) between the Taxing Entity and the Agency. The agreements set forth and describe various preliminary matters, including among other things, (a) background on the adoption of the Amended Meadow Pointe Community Reinvestment Project Area Plan that was approved January 14th, 2020, (b) Taxing Entities consent to the Agency to receive 50% of the Taxing Entities share of the personal and real property and sales and use tax from the Amended Meadow Pointe Project Area (the Project Area) for 20 years not to exceed $6,019,890.00, (c) Authorized uses of tax increment for the cost and maintenance of public infrastructure, and other improvements located within the project area, and other uses as authorized by the Act, (d) payments to start in 2020 for a period of 20 years ending 2040. For 30 days after the publication of this notice, and thereafter, the Agreements and resolutions of the Agency and Taxing Entity approving and authorizing the Agreements, are available for public inspection at the office of the Agency located at the Redevelopment Agency of Lehi City, Attn: Marlin Eldred, 153 North 100 East, Lehi City, UT 84043, Monday thru Thursday 7:30am 6:00pm, excluding holidays. Published January 31st, 2020.
