MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING 1570 West 400 North Thursday, December 19, 2019 6:30 P.M. Council Members Present: Erin Holley, President Dennis Illum, Vice President Dee Christoffersen Rob Smout Delbert Hodson Council Members Excused: Mayor and Staff: Scott Van Leeuwen, Mayor Bill Morris, City Administrator Visitors: Lisa Panter, Barry Panter, Scott Kenley, Amy Kenley, Cecile Morris, Baylor Nowell, Casson Nowell, Mark Nowell, Tytan Nowell, Jaimee Christoffersen, Dee Christoffersen, Kristine Smout, Megan Smout, Jeff Morris, Angela Erwin, Lynette Pattillo, Tucker Pattillo, Alan Bass, Garrett Bass, Rev. Kim James, Ned Allred, Barbara Allred, Ren Meyerhoffer, Marilyn Meyerhoffer 1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance. Pres. Holley called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM, and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2. Discussion/action on minutes. Motion to approve by Mr. Hodson, seconded by Mr. Illum. Vote called and passed. 3. Review of new business licenses: a. Ogden Auto Sales, 875 West 12th Street Mr. Meyerhoffer explained this application. Motion by Mr. Smout to approve review of Business Licenses, seconded by Mr. Illum. Vote called and approve unanimously. 4. Presentation: Annual Independent Audit. This item is postponed. 5. Discussion/action on Annual Independent Audit. This item is postponed. 6. Discussion/action on 2019 Meeting Schedule. Motion by Mr. Illum to approve meeting schedule, seconded by Mr. Smout. Vote called and approved unanimously. 7. Community Awards. Mayor Van Leeuwen handed out the awards as Mr. Morris read the names of the recipients along with a brief statement about each recipient receiving an award. Good Neighbor Award: Jake and Shelly Moss Family. Elna Lucas Community Culture and History Award: Sherry Morris. H. Orvil Holley Youth Leadership: Megan Smout, Youth Council, Garrett Bass, Tucker Pattillo, and Tytan Nowell. Darrell Mecham Outstanding Community Service Award: Reverend Kim James. 8. Adjourn meeting until January 21, 2020. Pres. Holley thanked staff for their service. Being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 6:47 PM. 9. Convene Christmas Party with Planning Commission and volunteers in Multi-purpose Room. Christmas Party catered by Bella's was convened in the Senior Center.
