Notice is given that the Stockton Planning Commission will hold a regular meeting promptly at 7:00 pm in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk a t (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed. PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Tuesday, December 3, 2019 Call to order- 7:00 pm 1. Pledge of allegiance 2. Approval of November 2019 Planning Commission Minutes Motion to approve- Don Hill Seconded- Pauline Hawk Unanimous approval Motion passed 4. Old Business Nothing to report 5. New Business a. Mary Edwards- Property concerns (220 North Connor) Mr. and Mrs. Edwards would like to purchase a lot on the Towns property adjacent to their property, on the corner of Dutch and Connor Avenue. The commission will get some guidance and will talk further about the purchase of the property in January Planning Commission Meeting. Motion to table- Don Hill Seconded- Pauline Hawk Unanimous approval Motion passed 6. Review Amending Town Code (Home Occupation) Motion to move forward to Town Council- Don Hill Seconded- Pauline Hawk Unanimous approval Motion passed 7. New building permit applications Nothing to report. 8. Open public comments (3 to 5 minutes per person) Mayor Karjola- Thank you Pauline Hawk for everything you have done for the Planning Commission. Joe Johnston- Tonight is my last meeting to be on the Planning Commission board, as I am going to be on the Town Council starting January 2020. 9. Close public comments Nothing to report 10. Discuss agenda for January 2020 a. Mary Edwards- Purchasing property. b. Swearing in new Planning Commission members. 11. Planning Commission board updates/assignments a. Thank you Pauline Hawk Commission thanks Pauline for being on the Planning Commission. b. Welcome Spence Marsing Commission welcomes Spencer Marsing to be a part of the Planning Commission. c. Upcoming Stockton Public Meetings Town Council is Thursday December 12, 2019 at 7:00pm. d. Commission Member(s) Recruitment The Town of Stockton is still actively recruiting for 1 Planning Commission Member and 2 alternate Planning Commission Members! This is your chance to become a part of the team that will grow with the Town. The application is on the Towns website at www.stocktontown.org Please fill it out and email it to townclerk@stocktontown.org or come visit us up at the Town Hall and fill one out in person. 11.
