Eureka City
NOTICE OF INTENT TO PREPARE REASONABLE IMPACT FEE FACILITIES PLAN AND IMPACT FEE WRITTEN ANALYSIS
Eureka City, Utah intends to commence the preparation of independent written impact fee analyses based on a reasonable facilities plan for parks, transportation, water and sewer and therefore, pursuant to the provisions of 11-36a-501 and 503 of the Utah Code known as the 'Impact Fees Act', notice is hereby provided to you of the intent of Eureka City to prepare a combined facilities plan and impact fee written analysis for parks, transportation, water, and sewer. Pursuant to the Impact Fees Act, given that the City of Eureka has a population under 5,000 people, formal impact fee facilities plans are not required and instead the Town will prepare reasonable facilities plans. The plans will be prepared for one single service area encompassing the City's incorporated boundaries and proposed facilities will be located within the service area boundaries. The impact fees to be considered will be charged to new development and used to offset the cost of facilities to serve new development. Those receiving this Notice are invited to provide information to be considered in adopting the facilities plans and impact fee written analysis. For information about this impact fee project, please contact Mayor Nick Castleton at 435-433-6915 (City Office), 435-660-6788 (Cell) or you may e-mail eureka15@cut.net. Any information received should be provided in writing.
Thank you for your cooperation.
