PUBLIC NOTICE The Bear River City Council will hold two public hearings on January 2, 2020 at 8:00 pm in the Bear River City Civic Center, 5871 N 4700 W, Bear River City, Utah. The purpose of the first hearing is to receive comments on proposed zoning changes as follows: 1) The current Light Manufacturing/Industrial Zone located between 4700 W to 5000 W and 6200 N to 6400 N to be rezoned to a Rural Residential Zone. 2) The property located between approximately 5300 N to 5400 N and between 4800 W to 5000 W which is currently zoned Rural Residential to be rezoned to a Light Manufacturing/Industrial Zone. Further information may be obtained by contacting the City Office at 435-279-9047. The second public hearing is to receive comments on increasing elected and appointed officials compensation to allow them use of the park and civic center one time each year without charge. Individuals needing special accommodations including auxiliary communicative aids and services during the meeting should notify the City Office at 435-279-9047 at least 48 hours before the hearing.
