APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 12, 2019 MINUTES:
Councilmember Katrina Long moved to make a motion to accept the minutes of November 12, 2019 as written. A second was made by Councilmember Frank Riding. The vote was unanimous. (1st Motion)
PLANNING AND ZONING:
No Report
DELEGATIONS:
Scott Sorensen Juab County Sheriff reported a few updates. He said the Crossing Guards are doing well; there will be more enforcement in the school zone.
Melinda Matheson of Mona City Parks & Recreation gave an update on the previous survey that was conducted and sent to local residents by the Recreation Committee. She said the survey was very favorable, the survey indicated they would like more events. 153 surveys were received back from local residents.
'Mona City is looking at expanding the current recreation offerings,' Said Matheson
A workshop will be scheduled the first of the year to further discuss the issues.
MONA CITY COUNCIL MEETING NOVEMBER 26, 2019
SECRETARY/TREASURER/ RECORDER REPORT:
Secretary Michelle Dalton thanked everyone for attending the first annual Christmas party. Another employee's party is planned for spring.
Michelle presented a bid from Brian Backus Excavating to repair the damaged city sign. The bid was $3,500.00
Lyla Spencer City Recorder had the councilmember's sign the Mylar plat map for the BCR (Barnes Bullet Annexation) along with Rob Patterson City Attorney.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCES:
Director of Finances Everd Squire presented the Mona City Disbursement Listing for checking dated 11/13/2019 to 11/26/2019; Everd asked the council if there were questions on the disbursement list. There were no questions on the monthly financial disbursement report.
There were three (3) checks over the allotted amount of $2,000.
The report has been initialed by each council member and attached to the minutes for public viewing.
COUNCIL BUSINESS:
There were no fence permit applications or Business Licenses presented
The contract for Country Garbage will be renewed at the next council meeting.
Councilmember Katrina Long reminded the council and those present; Santa will be in town at the Community Center on Saturday December 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. Hot Chocolate will be served.
Councilmember Micheal Stringer publicly stated; when city employees are up at 3:00 a.m. pushing snow they should not be awakened early the next morning. He thought that the snow plow drivers need some consideration early in the morning. Stringer added, 'Don't call them, call me.' He will take the calls and address the issues.
Stringer also advised city residents to move their vehicles from the side of the streets so the snow can be removed easily.
The snow is first removed from the main streets and around the school ground area and then the side streets.
Councilmember Stringer would like to order three used dry van storage trailers for a road salt shed.

There were two (2) Motions voted upon and passed, a Motion to approve the minutes of November 12 as written, and a Motion, to adjourn this meeting of November 26, 2019.

PAY FINANCES ADJOURNMENT:
Councilmember Micheal Stringer moved to make a motion to pay the finances and adjourn at 7:57 p.m, a second was made by Councilmember Jay Mecham, the vote was unanimous, motion carried. (2nd Motion)
The city council meeting was then adjourned with no further comments.
