MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Marriott-Slaterville City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Municipal Complex, 1570 West 400 North. The meeting shall begin at 6:30 P.M. with the agenda as follows: CITY COUNCIL MEETING - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2019 - 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to Order - Board of Canvassers. a. Canvass of the 2019 Municipal Election. b. Adjourn. 2. Call to Order - Community Arts & Culture Council. a. Update on the Historical Markers. b. Adjourn. 3. Call to Order - City Council. a. Pledge of Allegiance. b. Discussion/action on minutes. c. Review of new business licenses: Mike Welch Customs, LLC, 812 West 1700 South. d. Presentation: Weber County Sheriff. e. Discussion/action on Resolution to approve contract with Weber County Sheriff for VIPS Program. f. Discussion/action on Resolution supporting legislative response to electronic cigarettes and the vaping health epidemic. g. Public Hearing: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) - First Public Hearing. h. Public Hearing: Boundary Adjustment with Farr West. i. Discussion/action on Ordinance adjusting boundary with Farr West at approximately 971 North 1200 West. j. Discussion/action on 2020-21 Capital Investments Plan. k. Discussion/action on Ordinance approving Brookside Acres Subdivision on 200 South. l. Discussion/action on Ordinance approving Stanger Subdivision - Phase 3 at 1200 West 700 South. m. Discussion/action on Ordinance approving Cannabis Regulations. n. Discussion/action on allotment of funds for various projects: i. Community website upgrade and redesign. ii. GIS/GPS infrastructure location and identification project. iii. Replace certain computer equipment and software. o. Event Planning: i. Breakfast with Santa - Saturday, December 14, at 9:00 AM at City Hall. ii. Christmas Party - Thursday, December 19, 2019. p. Officer reports, monthly financial report, and legislative oversight. q. Adjourn until December 19, 2019. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING AND NOTICE The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, hereby certifies that the above notice and agenda was sent via facsimile to the Ogden Standard-Examiner. The notice and agenda was posted on the Utah Public Meeting Notice Website, delivered to the mayor, council members, and posted in three (3) public places within Marriott-Slaterville City on or about November 14, 2019. These public posting places being: 1) Municipal Complex, 2) Chevron on 400 North, and 3) America First Credit Union at 12th and 12th. Items not meeting deadlines are omitted from the agenda.
