ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Owner: CITY OF BLUFFDALE Address: 2222 West 14400 South BLUFFDALE, UT 84065 Separate sealed Bids for the 14600 South Storm Drain East of Noell Nelson Drive project will be received by Bluffdale City Corporation at the City of Bluffdale, City Hall Building, 2222 West 14400 South, Bluffdale, Utah 84065, until 3:00 pm MST, December 5, 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are available on SciQuest, project No. COB19002SD. Procure a copy of the plans on SciQuest. All updates, including addendums and answers to inquiries will be made on SciQuest. The Contractor is responsible for getting all updates on SciQuest before bidding the project. All questions must be asked and will only be answered on SciQuest. The principal items of work are approximately as follows: Construct a Storm Drain system which includes the construction of approximately 5,500 LF of storm drain main, with detention pond, landscaping and irrigation system, asphalt restoration, inlet boxes, drainage boxes, and manholes, and canal outfall to provide storm drain services to the surrounding area. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the City of Bluffdale City Hall on November 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm MST in the Community room on the main level. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Contract Award and Execution, Information Required of Bidders, Scope of Work, Bid, Bid Schedule, Measurement and Payment, General Conditions, Specifications, Drawings, and Addenda, may be examined at the following locations: CITY OF BLUFFDALE, CITY HALL BUILDING, 2222 WEST 14400 SOUTH, BLUFFDALE, UTAH 84065 All BIDDERS are required to have payment and performance bonds underwritten by a Surety Company approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. (Circular 570, latest edition).
