Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Place: Old Town Hall Building (200 South 100 East) Meeting Date and Time: November 21, 2019, 7 PM Business Excused: Jaylene Macfarlane, Karen Harbold Review and/or approve minutes: Motion by: Agenda Items 1. Shane VanCott has resigned from the Commission. Jaylene has asked to step back temporarily. 2. Conduct subcommittee reports: Preservation - Old Town Hall project: Chris Schow is now the point person for this project. Hear updates about the cost estimate from Reaveley Engineers. - Talk about the postcard project and accompanying SHPO training. Community Outreach Discuss learnings from the September downtown tour. (Should this be an annual event? What should we start, stop, or continue?) Is someone willing to spearhead the Historic Home Tour series? Digitization & Archives Work sessions have begun (second Wednesday at 6:30 PM, and Thursday at 10 AM every month) History & Publications No updates 3. Vote to adopt our bylaw revisions. Tina Peterson will ratify it in an upcoming city council session. 4. Vote to adopt our 2019-2020 budget. 5. Adjourn to begin a work session on the Old Town Hall Building (paint stripping and holiday decorating). Next meeting: Thursday, January 16, 2020 (no meeting in December)
