ORDINANCE NO. 2019-21 AN ORDINANCE OF IVINS CITY, UTAH, CERTIFYING THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE CANVASS REPORT OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 2019 WHEREAS the Ivins City Municipal General Election was held on November 5, 2019; and WHEREAS Ivins City hereby certifies the information contained in the canvass report is accurate; and WHEREAS the Ivins City Council met as a quorum, in a properly noticed open meeting, to certify the General Election returns at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Ivins City Council that the Ivins City General Election held on November 5, 2019 returns are as follows: Candidates - City Council - 3 seats open, 4 year term for each seat Total Votes Received Percentage Valerie Cazier 689 12.01% Derek A. Larsen 767 13.36% Dennis Mehr 1,259 21.94% David Robinson 575 10.02% Sue Gordhammer 1,323 23.05% Jenny Johnson 1,126 19.62% Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage and publication. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE IVINS CITY COUNCIL, STATE OF UTAH, ON THE 13TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2019, BY A UNANIMOUS VOTE. ALL COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT VOTED IN FAVOR. ONE COUNCIL MEMBER WAS ABSENT
