CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION ____________________________________ NOTICE OF MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Salt Lake City Civil Service Commission will hold a meeting at 4:00pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 349 South 200 East, Suite 500 Room Lily, Salt Lake City Utah. AGENDA 1. Approve the minutes from the October 17, 2019 meeting. 2. Commission will present decision re: Jeff Payne hearing 3. Commission will present decision re: Sherry Cardon hearing 4. Approve the Entry Level Police Officer Continual Hire Eligibility Register. 5. Approve the Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Clinical Mental Health Counselor Continual Hire Eligibility Register. 6. Approve the Police Lieutenant Eligibility Register. 7. Approve the Police Intelligence Specialist Continual Hire Eligibility Register. 8. Approved the Utah POST Certified - Police Officer Continual Hire Eligibility Register. 9. Removal of names from the 2018 entry-level firefighter list 10. Approval of the updated Entry-level Firefighter Eligibility Register The Civil Service Commission will consider a motion to enter into Closed Session. A closed meeting described under Utah Code § 52-4-205 may be held for specific purposes including, but not limited to: a. discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; c. strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; f. discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems; and g. Investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct. A closed meeting may also be held for attorney-client matters that are privileged pursuant to Utah Code § 78B-1-137, and for other lawful purposes that satisfy the pertinent requirements of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act.
