Description/Agenda: Notice of Mid-Term Vacancy Rockville Town Council If you are interested in serving on the Town Council of Rockville for the remainder of Barry Sochat's term ending December 31, 2021, you may submit a letter of interest to the Town Office before December 13, 2019. Timely electronic submissions will be accepted. The letter needs to verify that you have been a continuous resident of Rockville for the last 12 months, are registered to vote in Rockville, that you are mentally competent and that you are not a felon. The letter should also indicate why you want to serve, why you are qualified, and what experience you have. The Rockville Town Council will make a decision and an appointment at the regular meeting on Wednesday, January 15 at 6:00 pm. in the Rockville Community Center, 43 E. Main Street.
