Planning and Zoning Minutes April 15, 2019 6:00 p.m. 25 S 200 E PANGUITCH CITY OFFICE CONFERENCE ROOM Those in attendance Chair Jeramy Henrie, City Recorder Tyrissa Howell, City Manager Lori Talbot, Committee members Trudi Owens, Justin Peterson, Phil Norton and Todd Breinholt. Others Present were Denny Orton. Adoption of the Agenda Trudi Owens moved, seconded by Phil Norton to adopt the agenda. The motion passed with all in favor. Approval of the Minutes and Email Surveys Justin Peterson moved, seconded by Todd Breinholt to approve the minutes. The motion passed with all in favor. Zoning Change - Stanley Gubler on 500 North Denny Orton spoke with the committee representing Deloy Gubler and Truman Dotsun. Truman Dotsun would like to build two 4-plex apartment buildings on the property he is purchasing on 500 North from Deloy Gubler. Panguitch City has the property zoned residential. Residential zoning does not allow two dwellings on one lot. Deloy Gubler believed the property was zoned commercial which would allow two dwellings. Denny Orton stated he would speak with Deloy Gubler and Truman Dotson and tell them the property is residential and have them change their plans to fit the allowable uses. Conditional Use Permit for a mule - Josh Rushton at 484 North 100 East Justin Peterson moved, seconded by Trudi Owens to recommend approval of a Josh Rushton's Conditional Use Permit. The motion passed with all in favor. Vacation Rental - Mark Chipman at 169 North 300 East Justin Peterson moved, seconded by Todd Breinholt to recommend approval of a vacation rental at 169 North 300 East. The motion passed with all in favor. Vacation Rental - Suzette Hofiens at 190 South Main Trudi Owens moved, seconded by Justin Peterson to recommend approval of a vacation rental at 190 South Main. The motion passed with all in favor. Annual Conditional Use permit Review The Planning and Zoning Committee went through a list of current conditional use permits. The committee would like a letter sent asking if they still need or want a conditional use permit. Adjournment Trudi Owens moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 pm.
