Laketown Town Council Agenda October 15, 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Town of Laketown Town Council will hold a workshop meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday October 15, 2019 in the Laketown Town Office located at 10 North 200 East Laketown, Utah. 7:30 p.m. REGULAR MEETING AGENDA 1. Call to Order - Mayor Burdette Weston 2. Opening Ceremony 3. Roll Call 4. Approval of Agenda 5. QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS FOR MAYOR AND COUNCIL: Any person wishing to comment on any item not otherwise on the Agenda may address the Town Council at this point by addressing the Mayor and Town Council and giving his or her name and address for the record. Comments should be limited to not more than three (3) minutes, unless additional time is authorized by the Mayor. Citizen groups will be asked to appoint a spokesperson. This is the time and place for any person who wishes to comment on non-agenda items. Some items brought forward to the attention of the Town Council will be turned over to the clerk to provide a response outside of the Town Council meeting. 6. WORKSHOP ITEMS: A. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to amend the definition of Building, Main in the Zoning Ordinance 10-2-1 - Ordinance 2019-02 B. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to create a minimum size residential home in the Building Ordinance 9-5-1- Ordinance 2019-03 C. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to create a standard distance of 600 Feet between signs amending the Zoning Ordinance 10-12-5 - Ordinance 2019-04 D. ZONE CREATION - Consideration to create and establish a new Residential Agricultural 1/2 Zone (RA-1/2) and to end Residential-Agricultural 1/3 Zone (RA-1/3) - Ordinance 2019-05 E. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to create height requirements for buildings, and to establish height exceptions and a flag pole maximum height - Ordinance 2019-06 F. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to add Laketown Town Council and the code of the State of Utah to the Water Regulations Ordinance 8-1-8C - Ordinance 2019-07 G. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to create Residential Agricultural 1/2 Zone Regulations of 1/2 acre area, 100 feet width, 30 feet front, 12 fee side and 30 feet rear - Ordinance 2019-08 H. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to establish street regulations and pavement depth - Ordinance 2019-09 I. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to amend the standard for rear yards to ten feet - Ordinance 2019-10 J. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to empower the town to revise, codify and compile all ordinances of the municipality per Utah State Code 10-3-707 by amending the Official Town Code Amendments 1-1-3 - Ordinance 2019-11 K. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to amend the commercial zone side yard to create a five foot setback - Ordinance 2019-12 L. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to establish the town new water hookup fee for our standard size meter (5/8') and any cost for a larger meter is the responsibility of the owner amending the Water Regulations Water Use and Service Fees and Rates 8-1-3 - Ordinance 2019-13 M. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to add the requirement for water shares to come with the subdivision by amending the Connection By Subdividers 8-1-2B - Ordinance 2019-14 N. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to amend the regular town council meeting time to the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. - Ordinance 2019-15 O. CODE AMENDMENT - Consideration to review and amend the Subdivision Regulations Title 11 - Ordinance 2019-16 7. EXECUTIVE SESSION (if needed) 8. ADJOURN NOTE: The Town Council may vote to go into executive session pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-205 ______________________________________________________ On Saturday October 12, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the Laketown Town Office, Laketown, Utah. A copy was also posted on the Utah Public Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov; on the Laketown website at www.laketownutah.com, and in Laketown inside and outside of the Laketown post office and at Dee's Service Station.
