SYRACUSE CITY Syracuse City Council Work Session Agenda September 24, 2019 - 6:00 p.m. City Council Conference Room Municipal Building, 1979 W. 1900 S. a. Meeting called to order. Pledge of Allegiance and Prayer. b. Public comments. c. Request to be on the agenda: Utah Transit Authority (UTA) re: services provided within Syracuse City. (15 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Bolduc. d. Discuss landscaping regulations and request to reduce water rates for xeriscaping of private property. (15 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Maughan. e. Continued discussion regarding accepting District Three water shares for development within Syracuse City. (15 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Peterson. f. Request from Still Water Lake Estates Homeowners Association (HOA) re: surplus of Still Water Drive and Lakeview Way and transfer to HOA. (10 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Savage. g. Discussion regarding Police Department staffing proposal. (10 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Bingham. h. Planning items: 1. Proposed creation of Mixed-Use zone. (30 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Bolduc. 2. Edgewater Park Subdivision Preliminary Plat, located at approximately 2950 S. Bluff Road. (15 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Maughan. 3. Petition to amend Section 5.20.200 of the Syracuse City Code pertaining to beer licensing regulations. (10 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Peterson. i. Continued discussion of potential modifications to City Public Works Facility access points. (10 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Savage. j. Discussion regarding various Personnel Policy Manual amendments. (30 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Bingham. k. Discuss voter participation areas. (10 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Bolduc. l. Discuss Justice Court Recertification. (5 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Maughan. m. Fire Department Biennial Review. (45 min.) Council discussion, if necessary, will commence with Councilmember Peterson. n. Public comments. o.
