Amalga Planning and Zoning Meeting September 4, 2019 7:00 PM Visitors: Rusty and Teresa Burnside, Mike Burton, Dave Wood, Mayor, Michelle Gittins, Town Treasurer Members: Lance Gates, Chairman. Brian Larsen, Carl Sims, Committee Members. Howard Kunz, Town Board. Dave Lee, Secretary. 1. Minutes from previous meeting read by Carl Sims. One correction was noted. On item 3, it was noted that the motion was indicated as being Approved which it was. Motion to approve previous meeting minutes with correction: Brian Larsen Second-Carl Sims Motion Carried 2. Request by Mike Burton for a zoning clearance at 8480 N 2400 W for a single room addition to his residence. Addition to be 17' X 10'. Motion to approve-Brian Larsen Second-Carl Sims Motion Carried 3. Request by Rusty Burnside for a Conditional Use Permit for a horse arena at approximately 6290 N 2400 W. After reviewing the request, it was determined that no permit was necessary. Addition is not considered an area as described under 7.1.3 c of the Agricultural Zone. Horse pens to be located approximately 290 feet back on property. No action necessary by Planning and Zoning. Motion to Adjourn-Brian Larsen Second-Carl Sims Motion Carried Meeting Adjourned at 7:50 PM
