August 8, 2019 The regular meeting of the Cleveland Town council was held at the public safety building located at 130 W Main in Cleveland, Utah, on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 7:02 pm. Those in attendance were Mayor Michael Taylor and council members Brydi Sharp, and Kristen Vose. Kallon Cowley and Joe Wandell were absent. The meeting was opened with the pledge. A motion was made by Brydi and seconded by Kristen to approve the minutes from July's meeting. All were in favor. Motion carried. The meeting was opened to public comment. Nancy Livingston addressed the council, thanking them for the job saying she enjoyed it and wants to work for the town again next summer. The mayor and the council agreed to allow her to work again next year. Bart World also addressed the council with a suggestion that the town purchase a car for the employees and council to use for town business. The mayor agreed that this was a good idea and it will be looked into. Brydi asked how much money was in the tree budget for this year. Approximately $800 was discussed. Item #1 Review bills and approve for payment Brydi made a motion to approve the bills for payment with Kristen seconding the motion. A roll call vote was taken. Brydi voted yes. Kristen voted yes. Mike, to fill the quorum, voted yes. Motion carried. Item #2 Council reports Kristen reported no planning and zoning meeting for August. Brydi didn't have anything to report. Mike expressed his appreciation for everyone's effort during Cleveland Days. He had a lot of positive feedback especially about kid's day. Item #3 Adjourn meeting Brydi made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Kristen seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned. Shannon World, clerk
