Description/Agenda

The City of West Jordan Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at which time input will be received concerning the proposed items: - TEXT AMENDMENT - INTERCHANGE OVERLAY ZONE Amend the 2009 West Jordan Municipal Code Section 13-6, adding the Interchange Overlay Zone; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) - TEXT AMENDMENT - P-C ZONE Amend the 2009 West Jordan Municipal Code Section 13-5C-4, Permitted and Conditional Uses, adding Accessory Dwelling Units and Section 13-8-3, Accessory Uses, Buildings, and Structures; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) - GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT Amend Chapter 6 Parks, Recreation, Trails, Open Space of the West Jordan Comprehensive General Plan; Update the Parks, Recreation, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan referenced in the West Jordan Comprehensive General Plan; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) - GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT Amend the Moderate-Income Housing Plan of the West Jordan Comprehensive General Plan; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) - REZONE - EAGLE'S NEST 2947-3065 Haun Drive; Rezone approximately 7.88 acres from RR-1D (Rural Residential 1-acre lots) Zone to RR-20D (Rural Residential 20,000 square foot minimum lots) Zone; Brooks Properties/Kurt Brooks (applicant) The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers of the West Jordan City Hall, third floor, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. The Planning Commission will consider input from all interested parties prior to making a recommendation to the West Jordan City Council on these issues.
