- La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, September 18, 2019 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah 5:00 pm Work Meeting 1. Discussion on recent changes to state law regarding personal use by public officials and employees of public property and possible changes to the City's Personnel Policy regarding such use and the marking of such property. 2. Possible private sale of certain property to the adjacent property owner of property at the end of 210 South. A. 6:00 pm Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Presentation: 1. Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent Programs-Joni Lyman C. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Minutes: August 21, 2019 regular meeting 3. Review Checks and Invoices: $417,243.71 D. Committee Reports: Fire District, Sewer District, Planning Commission, Water Board E. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 20 minutes with each individual taking no more than 3 minutes. F. Mayor & Council Reports: Mayor Hirschi: Wilson: Mosquito Abatement, Public Works, Water, La Verkin Hot Springs Wise: Planning Commission/Zoning, Beautification/Trails Committee, Economic Development/Tourism Justice: Historical Preservation, Homeland Security/CERT, Confluence Park Gubler: Public Safety, Shooting Sports Park, Recreation/City Festival Reeve: Solid Waste, Sewer District G. Adjourn: In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Christy Ballard, City Recorder, (435) 635-2581, at least 48 hours in advance.
