Review Actions/Assignments and Activity from Prior Month: - Gina Chamness - Duration of current Tree Committee appointments - - New Committee Role: Inventory Manager - Travis - going to follow up with fire station about storage - Draft inventory list attached to review at meeting and update, still working on storage location and securing items at a City site - Selena - ideas on what Tree Committee to do for participation at 9/20 meeting to get word out about voucher program, 'take away' card - - Dennis - get articles to Selena for social media like CNN article about India tree planting - - Dennis - draft a certificate for restaurant get to Wendy to proof for urban forest support - - Selena/Glenn find contact at Tuscany to coordinate recognition for trees recently placed - - Travis get ISA pamphlets needed to order info to Dennis - or call me and I'll get you the payment info - Brochures on back order, will follow up next month with ISA - Kim - continue following up on Steve Petersen who working on the Mall Site and tree care should be part of the plans and that the committee would be happy to participate - - Selena - Swag pricing - UDOT Oct 12th tree trimming & clean up event III. Upcoming Events: - Holladay 20th Anniversary Celebrations - 9/20 Birthday Bash - UDOT tree pruning & cleanup project @ south side 2000 E I2-15 off-ramp 10/12 - Tree Voucher follow up site visits in lieu of meeting IV.
