- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING August 21, 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting August 21, 2019 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 P.M. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. Public Comments (limit of 3 minutes) 2. MOTION: Fill Mid-term vacancy on Huntington City council - In harmony with Utah Code, interview and appoint a person from the submitted and qualified nominees to fill the subject vacancy. The appointment will expire on December 31, 2019. Administer Oath of Office. 3. MOTION: Approval of July 17, 2019 City Council Minutes 4. MOTION: Approval of August 7, 2019 Special Meeting Minutes 5. MOTION: Approval of Municipal Building Authority Members (MBA) 6. MOTION: Resolution 13-2019 (MBA) Authority Board Members 7. MOTION: Business license 8. Update on CDBG City Park/Rodeo Grounds ADA improvements 9. MOTION: Cheryl Cox/Old city Hall Rental 10. Discussion of City Property Rentals 11. PUBLIC HEARING Transient Room Tax (TRT) 12. MOTION: Ordinance 8-2019 Transient Room Tax 13. MOTION: Ordinance 9-2019 RV Storage 14. MOTION: Emery Rodeo Team/Donation 15. Mayor's Report 16. Adjournment Notice Provisions: Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda were posted in three public places within the Huntington City limits. These public places being 1) Huntington City Hall; 2) Desertview Federal Credit Union; and 3) the U.S. Post Office. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
