- Public Notice Invitation to Bid Notice is hereby given that the City of South Salt Lake is accepting bids for the project titled: City of South Salt Lake Police Department Elevator Modernization Project 2019. Separate sealed bids will be received in the City Recorder's office located at 220 East Morris Avenue, Suite 200, South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 until 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Bids received after 8:30 a.m. will not be considered. Electronic Bids will not be accepted. There will be no public opening. The scope of work for this contract includes providing all labor, parts, material, equipment and tools necessary as described in the project plans and specifications. Plans and specifications may be obtained at BidSync or by contacting the Recorder's Office on the 2nd floor at 220 East Morris Avenue, South Salt Lake City, Utah after 9:00 a.m. on Monday August 19, 2019. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. Performance and payment bonds will also be required if awarded the project. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the South Salt Lake Police Department at 2835 South Main Street, South Salt Lake, Utah 84115. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
