Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE GENOLA TOWN The GENOLA TOWN is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The GENOLA TOWN tax on a $270,000 residence would increase from $143.60 to $155.18, which is $11.58 per year. - The GENOLA TOWN tax on a $270,000 business would increase from $261.09 to $282.15, which is $21.06 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, GENOLA TOWN would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 8.02% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
