PUBLIC NOTICE -
NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
The WASATCH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
- The WASATCH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT tax on a $562,000 residence would increase from $1,806.07 to $2,104.97, which is $298.90 per year.
- The WASATCH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT tax on a $562,000 business would increase from $3,283.77 to $3,827.22, which is $543.45 per year.
- If the proposed budget is approved, WASATCH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 20.98% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue, excluding eligible new growth.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.

Prior to the Public Hearing a regularly scheduled Board of Education Study Session will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Wasatch Education Center, 101 E 200 N, Heber, UT 84032.
Following the adjournment of the Public Hearing a Regularly Scheduled board meeting will be held.
Section 52-4-5 of the Open Meetings Act allows for closed sessions to discuss personnel, property, collective bargaining and matters of litigation.
