Description/Agenda: In accordance with Utah Code 20A-1-510, notice is hereby given that Perry City will be accepting names for consideration from qualified registered voters in Perry City who desire to be considered for appointment to fill a midterm vacancy on the City Council. The unexpired term of this midterm vacancy will expire on January 1, 2020. Qualifications for consideration are: be a United States Citizen, be a registered voter of Perry City, and have been a resident of Perry City for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months. Interested persons should inquire with the City Recorder during regular office hours (Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM). Qualified persons must formally submit their name, along with a resume on or before August 1, 2019, and will be interviewed and considered for appointment by the City Council during the regular meeting on August 8, 2019, at 7:00 PM at Perry City, 3005 South 1200 West, Perry City, Utah 84302.
