- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE LAYTON CITY CORPORATION The LAYTON CITY CORPORATION is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The LAYTON CITY CORPORATION tax on a $310,000 residence would increase from $242.79 to $303.49, which is $60.70 per year. - The LAYTON CITY CORPORATION tax on a $310,000 business would increase from $441.44 to $551.80, which is $110.36 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, LAYTON CITY CORPORATION would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 24.98% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/8/2019 7:00 P.M.
