NOTICE is hereby given that the WASATCH COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a Public Hearing on August 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Wasatch County Council Chambers, located at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, to consider the following items; and that the Wasatch County Council will hold a Public Hearing on August 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Wasatch County Council Chambers to hear the following items advanced to the County Council by the Planning Commission*: 1. Josh Spears requests a second 90 day extension for the Ucanogos Phase 3 final subdivision application and the accompanying Parker Subdivision Lot 1A vacate application which currently expire on August 9, 2019. If approved, the expiration date of the two applications would be extended to November 7, 2019. (Austin Corry) 2. Alan Sibson, on behalf of Austin and Laura Oldham, requests a Plat Amendment to Timber Lakes Plat No. 2 lots 234 and 235 in order to combine the two lots into one lot 235A located at 1378 Cedar Bark Lane in Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 6 East in the Mountain (M) zone. Kelly Davis Garrett requests Subdivision Plat Amendment in order to combine lots 107 and 108 of the Brighton Estates No. 2 subdivision into one 0.97 acre lot located at 2488 Dragonfly Way in Section 5, Township 3 South, Range 4 East in the Mountain (M) zone. Melvin McQuarrie requests a Conditional Use Permit to allow a residential building to be constructed within a 50 foot canal setback located at 1025 South 5700 East in Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 5 West, in the Residential Agriculture 1-acre (RA-1) zone. (Travis Hair) 5. Consideration and possible recommendation for a code amendment to Wasatch County Code chapters 16.15, Jordanelle Basin Overlay Zone (JBOZ), and 16.22, Nonconforming Uses and Structures, regarding Permitted and Conditional Uses listed within each respective chapter. *If forwarded, the recommendation by the Planning Commission on this item will be considered by the County Council as the Legislative Body, at a Public Hearing on August 21, 2019. (Travis Hair) 6. Proposed amendment to the Planning Commission bylaws relating to procedural items. If forwarded, the recommendation by the Planning Commission on this item will be considered by the County Council as the Legislative Body, at a Public Meeting on August 21, 2019. (Austin Corry) All interested persons are invited to attend. A briefing will be held in the Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. to review the evening's issues. This briefing will be for discussion purposes only between the Planning Staff and the Planning Commission. No action will be taken. The public may attend; however, no public testimony will be heard.
