- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE SALINA CITY The SALINA CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. -The SALINA CITY tax on a $150,000 residence would increase from $213.35 to $330.74, which is $117.39 per year. -The SALINA CITY tax on a $150,000 business would increase from $387.90 to $601.35, which is $213.45 per year. -If the proposed budget is approved, SALINA CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 55.01% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/13/19 7PM Location: NS Community Center 373 West 400 North Salina To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact SALINA CITY at 435-529-7304.
