DEVELOPMENT AND RENEWAL AGENCY
SUMMARY OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS
Under Sections 11-13-219 and 17C-5-205(2) of the Utah Code, notice is given, collectively by all the public entities listed, that the Cottonwood Heights Community Development and Renewal Agency entered into amended Interlocal Cooperation Agreements with each of the following, respectively: Cottonwood Heights City (agmt. dated 4/10/2018); Salt Lake County (agmt. dated 3/31/2018); Canyons School District (agmt. dated 7/17/2018); Central Utah Water Conservancy District (agmt. dated 9/1/2018); South Salt Lake Valley Mosquito Abatement District (agmt. dated 8/13/2018); and the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area (agmt. dated 6/21/2018). Each agreement provides that the taxing entity agrees to remit to the Agency annually certain tax increment revenues generated within the Canyons Centre Community Development Project Area, to provide funds to the Agency to carry out the Project Area Plan, with tax increment payments continuing for 23 years (County) to 25 years (all other taxing entities) beginning with the tax year no later than 2021. Some taxing entities have agreed to pay 100% of tax increment (County and School District), and some have agreed to pay 75% of tax increment (City, Rec District, Water District, Mosquito District). For a period of at least 30 days following the date of publication of this notice, a copy of each agreement is and will be available for public inspection and copying at the Agency's place of business located at 2277 E. Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. During that 30-day period, any person in interest may contest an agreement, or the procedures used to adopt an agreement, if the agreement or the procedures fail to comply with any applicable statutory requirements. After that 30-day period, no person may contest the any of the agreements for any cause.

Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
Council Members may participate in the meeting via telephonic communication. If a Council Member does participate via telephonic communication, the Councilmember will be on speakerphone. The speakerphone will be amplified so that the other Council Members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear all discussions.
