- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING July17, 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting July 17, 2019 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 P.M. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. Public Comments (limit of 3 minutes) 2. MOTION: Approval of June 19, 2019 City Council Minutes 3. MOTION: Cheryl Cox/Old City Hall Rental 4. MOTION: Business license 5. Appoint Audit Committee Member 6. Introduction of Youth City Council Advisor 7. MOTION: Appointment of Fire Chief 8. MOTION: Kove Johansen/Eagle Scout Project 9. MOTION: Resolution 6-2019 Short-term or Vacation Rentals 10. MOTION: Resolution 7-2019 Amending Title 9 Bed 11. Mayor's Report 12. Departmental Reports (Fire department, Maintenance department) 13. Council's Reports 14. Zoning Administrator Report 15. City Claims and Review of Financials 16. Adjournment Notice Provisions: Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda were posted in three public places within the Huntington City limits. These public places being 1) Huntington City Hall; 2) Desertview Federal Credit Union; and 3) the U.S. Post Office. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
