THE CITY OF WEST JORDAN, UTAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of West Jordan Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled public hearings to be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at which time input will be received concerning the proposed items: - REZONE - EAGLE'S NEST Eagles Nest Rezoning; 2973 - 3055 West Haun Drive; Rezone 3.69 acres from RR-1D (Rural Residential 1-acre lots) Zone to RR-20D (Rural Residential 20,000 square foot minimum lots) Zone; Brooks Properties/Kurt Brooks (applicant) - GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT & REZONE - WEST JORDAN MARKETPLACE West Jordan Marketplace Commercial; 9204 South 5600 West; Rezone 22.81 acres from P-C (Planned Community) Zone to SC-3 (Regional Shopping Center) Zone; City of West Jordan (applicant) - GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT & REZONE - WEST RIDGE COMMERCIAL West Ridge Commercial; 5500 West Bagley Park Road; General Plan Land Use Map Amendment for 12.084 acres from Public Facilities to Community Commercial and Rezone from P-F (Public Facilities) Zone to C-M (Heavy Commercial) Zone; West Ridge Academy/John Stohlton (applicant) - GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT & REZONE - BARBER PROPERTY Barber Property; 7401 South 5490 West; General Plan Land Use Map Amendment for 10.02 acres from Very Low Density Residential to Low Density Residential and Rezone from RR-1D (Rural Residential 1-acre minimum lots) Zone to R-1-12F (Single-family Residential 12,000 square foot minimum lots) Zone; Peterson Development LLC/Ryan Peterson (applicant) The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers of the West Jordan City Hall, third floor, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. The Planning Commission will consider input from all interested parties prior to making a recommendation to the West Jordan City Council on these issues.
