CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION ____________________________________________________________________________ NOTICE OF MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Salt Lake City Civil Service Commission will hold a meeting at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 451 South State Street, Room 126, Salt Lake City Utah. AGENDA 1. Approve the minutes from the May 16, 2019 meeting. 2. Police Personnel Changes for May 2019 - June 2019 3. Approve the Updated Entry Level Police Officer Continual Hire Eligibility Register. 4. Request to reinstate John Emery to the position of Police Officer. 5. Request to reinstate Kevin Moody to the position of Police Officer. 6. Notice of names removed from Police Department Eligibility Registers. 7. Request to reinstate Joshua Smith to the position of Police Officer. 8. Request to approve the Evidence Supervisor Continual Hire Process. 9. Request to approve the Office Technician Continual Hire Register for one year. 10. Approve Office Technician I continual hire register 11. Removal of Names 12. Approve Fire Captain List 13. Fire Department Personnel Changes 14. Request to Approve the Accountant I Process as a Continual Hire. The Civil Service Commission will consider a motion to enter into Closed Session. A closed meeting described under Utah Code § 52-4-205 may be held for specific purposes including, but not limited to: a. discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; c. strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; f. discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems; and g. Investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct. A closed meeting may also be held for attorney-client matters that are privileged pursuant to Utah Code § 78B-1-137, and for other lawful purposes that satisfy the pertinent requirements of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act.
