PUBLIC NOTICE CENTERFIELD CITY COUNCIL VACANCY Centerfield City has one vacancy on the Centerfield City Council due to a resignation of one of its members. The vacancy will be filled at the Centerfield City Council meeting scheduled on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 5:00 PM at the Centerfield City Hall by appointment of the City Council and in accordance with state law (UCA 20A-1-510). The position will run through December 2021 and will be up for election in the 2021 Centerfield City Municipal Election. Those who wish to be considered for this City Council position are encouraged to submit their name for consideration to Lacey Belnap, City Recorder or Tammy Winegar, City Treasurer. Names must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Centerfield City Hall by Monday, July 15, 2019 at 5:00 PM.. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CANDIDATE ARE: (UCA 10-3-301; 20A-9-203) Be a United States Citizen Be a registered voter of the municipality, Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election Must not be a convicted felon, unless their right to hold elective office has been restored Dated this 17th day of June, 2019 /s/ Lacey Belnap.
