Davis County Children's Justice Center Quarterly Advisory Board Meeting Agenda June 12, 2019 12:00 p.m-1:00 p.m. I. Welcome (5 minutes) a. Introduction of new Advisory Board Chair Commissioner Lorene Kamalu b. Introduction of new board member Kelly Sparks, Davis County Sheriff c. Welcome visitors II. Financial Report/Friend's Fundraising report: Tanya/Bev a. CJC budget report: (Tanya) (5-10 minutes) b. New furniture for the CJC: We owe a HUGE thank you to the Friends board (1 minute) c. Bike sale, kids safety fair, golf tournament and upcoming gala fundraiser: Bev (10 minutes) III. Quarterly CJC Statistical Report: Susan (5 minutes) IV. Trainings/Conferences: Tanya/Susan d. Child Mal treatment Conf/Children's Justice Center Symposium/APSAC (5 minutes) e. Recent Public Presentations and CJC Open House Report: Susan (5-10 minutes) V. Children's Justice Center State Advisory Board Letter regarding VOCA Funding for onsite forensic interviewers: Tanya a. Review DRAFT letter in packet (10-15 minutes) VI. New policies imposed by Utah attorney general's office for medical referral forms and CJC staff watching CJC interviews. Tanya (5-10 mins). Public Comments (5 mins) Motion to Adjourn The next meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday Sept 11, 2019 at Noon. The final 2019 quarterly meeting will be held on Dec 11th. Thank you!
