NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Ogden City Council received an annexation petition from Randy Marriott and Kami Marriott to annex property into the corporate limits of North Ogden City. The property contains 200.62 acres in area and is located at approximately 4300 North and 850 East in North Ogden, Utah. The City Council received certification from S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder on May 31, 2019. Copies of the proposed annexation are available from the City Recorder at 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah. The legal description of the property petitioned for annexation is as follows: A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 16, AND THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 15, AND THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN U.S. SURVEY AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT COMMON TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE UTAH POWER AND LIGHT CORRIDOR AND THE WEST LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 16; WHICH POINT IS A NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE NORTH OGDEN CORPORATE LIMITS LINE AS RECORDED IN BOOK 19 AT PAGE 81 IN THE WEBER COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE, SAID POINT ALSO BEING NORTH 00°52'59' EAST 1989.66 FEET ALONG SAID QUARTER SECTION LINE FROM THE SOUTH QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 16; RUNNING THENCE (SOUTHERLY REC.) NORTH 00°49'56' EAST 951.04 FEET; (2) (EAST REC.) SOUTH 88°59'52' EAST 1850.32 FEET TO A POINT COMMON TO THE NORTHEASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE UTAH POWER AND LIGHT CORRIDOR AND THE CORPORATE LIMIT LINE; CONTINUING THE REMAINING COURSES AND DISTANCES ALONG THE NEW NORTH OGDEN CITY ANNEXATION BOUNDARY; THENCE NORTH 62°53'53' WEST 1286.85 FEET ALONG SAID NORTHEASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE TO THE EAST LINE OF PARCEL 16-007-0009; THENCE NORTH 00°47'07' EAST 1392.99 FEET ALONG SAID EAST LINE TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID PARCEL; THENCE NORTH 44°11'24' WEST 701.75 FEET ALONG THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID PARCEL TO THE EAST QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 16; THENCE NORTH 88°54'23' WEST 2599.30 FEET ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 16 TO THE CENTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 16; THENCE SOUTH 00°52'59' WEST 678.13 FEET ALONG THE SAID WEST LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 16 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINS 200.62 ACRES MORE OR LESS The City Council will receive written protests to this annexation from the legislative or governing bodies of the affected entities until July 12, 2019 at 5pm. Only written protests by legal protesters will be considered. A written protest to this annexation must be filed with the Weber County Board of County Commissioners, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401. A copy of said protest must also be provided to S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414 by July 12, 2019. If written protests are received, the City Council will evaluate and determine the validity of the protest and if the protests are from legal protesters. Upon the completion of such and evaluation and determination, the City Council may or may not adopt an Ordinance annexing this property on July 23, 2019. S.
