- The City of West Jordan Utah is seeking Proposals from qualified irrigation contractors for the Calsense Central Irrigation Control System and Backflow Replacement Project at various locations within West Jordan, Utah. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 11, 2019, at the Parks Buildling, 7925 South 1300 West. Any bidder arriving fifteen minutes after the above noted time shall be disqualified from submitting a bid and any bid submitted by them shall be considered non-responsive and will not be evaluated further. Proposals will be received by the City of West Jordan, City Recorder/Clerk's Office, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84088 until, Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at which time the names of those firms who submitted proposals shall be publicly announced. Proposals shall be deemed received when they are in the physical possession of the City Clerk or designee. Proposals, modifications, or corrections will not be accepted if they are not timely received by the City Recorder/Clerk's Office, regardless of the cause, whether or not by action or inaction of the City, including but not limited to delayed, lost, undelivered or misdirected mail. Emailed or facsimile transmitted proposals will not be accepted. An electronic copy of the proposal documents may be obtained beginning June 3, 2019, by emailing a request for documents to purchasing@westjordan.utah.gov. When emailing to request bid documents please include your full name, company name, address, and phone number.
