Notice is hereby given that the Pleasant Grove Library Board will hold a regular public meeting at 7pm on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the City Hall basement located at 70 South 100 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Conducting: Koni Smith Secretary: Alecia Bales Starting Time: 7:00pm Welcome Public In Attendance: Ben Tullis, Koni Smith, Kati Atwood, Corinne Boren, Emily Hammerstad, Taylor Anderson, Alecia Bales, Melanie Tucker, Sheri Britsch Excused: Review and Approve Minutes for February and March Open Session - Public City Business - Chairperson's Business - Board retreat? (ULA conference 15-17) - Next month we will be discussing board changes (new positions if desired), be thinking about this Director's Business - Sheri - Discuss changing fines for dvds from $1 to $0.10. What was result from city council meeting? - Historical summary of the PG Library and the 2018 library stats and using those stats to compare to other local libraries. - Revised library card application - Discuss eliminating all checkout limits Committee Reports 1. Policy and Governance/Education - quarterly training 2. Public Relations - Ben/Corrine - 3. Fundraising - Update from Emily from Foundation (needs they have) 4.
