- LEGAL NOTICE CITY OR OREM 2019 MUNICIPAL ELECTION This notice is to inform residents of the City of Orem that there will be a Municipal Election this year for the following offices: 3 City Council positions - 4-year terms, January 2020 - January 2024 Candidate filing period is June 1, 2019 through June 7, 2019. Declaration of Candidacy forms, Nomination Petitions or Designated Agent Declaration must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah, during the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. In accordance with the City of Orem Code, individuals filing as candidates for the Orem City Council shall pay a $75.00 fee at the time of filing their candidacy with the City Recorder. (Ord. 2019-0004) If more than two candidates file for each position, a Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
