Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Place: City Hall Basement Conference Room Meeting Date and Time: April 18, 2019, 7 PM Business Excused: Emily Varney Review and/or approve minutes: Motion by: Agenda Items 1. Hear reports from subcommittees: Preservation - Update on Old Town Hall restoration project. (Jaylene) - Do we want to host a Preservation Utah workshop? The topics are: CLG Grant Projects, Historic Tax Credits, Benefits/or process of nominating properties to the National Register of Historic Places, or Building 'Doctor' (explaining common fixes or issues with historic buildings). When? Community Outreach - Discuss final details of April's Historic Home Social & Walking Tour. Date: Monday, April 29, 6 PM tour, 7 PM social Location: 695 E 100 N Hosts/Tour Guides: Lynn & Linda Walker Promotion: Was in April city newsletter and April Timpanogos Times. Shane will post online on several Facebook pages. Refreshments: Cookies from Costco, ice water, paper products from city council social Bricks and Walking Tour booklets available for sale Gift: Give a brick to the host - Who had the idea of an event at the Senior Center last meeting? Expound, please? Digitization & Archives None History & Publications None 2. Discuss final outcome of Sheri's discussion with Tina (city attorney) about bylaws. 3. Decide whether we're doing a Strawberry Days booth. Discuss pro's and con's, learnings from last year, and ideas for booth (Strawberry Days and/or Heritage Festival). 4. Who is registered for SHPO's May 31 training? Heritage Festival Meeting starts at 8:30 PM immediately following this meeting. Next meeting: Thursday, May 16 at 7 PM
