PUBLIC NOTICE NEPHI CITY 2019 CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS Nephi City will hold a general election on November 5, 2019, to allow qualified voters of the community to elect (3) three council members to serve on the Nephi City Council for a four-year term. Nephi City, by ordinance, provides for non-partisan election with a primary election if needed on August 13, 2019. Interested persons wanting to declare their candidacy and get their names on the ballot should file a declaration of candidacy with the Nephi City Recorder, located at 21 East 100 North, during the open filing period of June 3, 2019 through June 7, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Write-ins are not allowed for a primary election, if required. The qualifications for a candidate are: (1) be a United States Citizen; (2) be a registered voter of Nephi City; (3) be a resident of Nephi City for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
