- Municipal Election Notice Fairview City is looking for qualified citizens to run for four City Council positions. Anyone interested may file a Declaration of Candidacy at the City Hall located at 85 South State from June 3rd to June 7th. Of the four City Council positions, three are for 4 years and the remaining one is for 2 years. In order to file for candidacy, you must be a United States citizen at time of filing, a registered voter of the City, at least 18 years of age, a resident of the City for 12 consecutive months, and cannot be a convicted felon.
