Notice of Intent to Amend the
Riverton City General Plan Land Use Element
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Riverton City, Utah, intends to amend the Riverton City General Plan Land Use Element. The amended General Plan Land Use Element will include all properties within the current City boundary, as shown in the attached map. The amended Land Use Element will address current and potential land uses for the City, and will provide guidance for the growth and development of all land within the City.
This notice has been prepared in compliance with Utah Code 10-9a-203 and is being sent to those entitled to receive such notification, which includes each 'affected entity' as defined in Utah Code 10-9a-203(1)(a).
All affected entities are invited to provide information to the City for consideration during the process of preparing and adopting the proposed General Plan amendment concerning: (a) impacts that the use of land in the proposed general plan may have; and (b) uses of land within the municipality that the affected entity is considering that may conflict with the proposed general plan. It is anticipated that the Land Use Element amendment will amendment process will take approximately ninety (90) days.

Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
Riverton City Hall is an accessible facility. Individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorders Office at 801-208-3126, at least two business days in advance of the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
