PUBLIC NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL OFFICES to be voted on in the Gunnison City Municipal Primary Election on August 13, 2019 Three (3) City Council Members, 4 year terms Candidate Filing Period Begins Monday, June 3, 2019 and runs through Friday, June 7, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petition must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 38 West Center, Gunnison, Utah between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Candidate filing deadline is Friday, June 7, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. (UCA 20A-9-203). QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CANDIDATE ARE: (UCA 10-3-301; 20A-9-203) 1. Be a United States Citizen 2. Be a registered voter of the municipality, 3. Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election Please contact the Gunnison City Offices with any questions (435-528-7969).
